Hey Redlude04, where did you buy the clutch hard line that goes from your clutch master cylinder to the clutch dampner assembly mounted by the tranny? Majestic Honda? Or did you bend one yourself. Also did you wire up your reverse lights and clutch switch for the starter? Im doing this conversion in 1 month.

being that you are 16, and probably dont have enough money to do constant engine maintenence and rebuilds...

KEEP IT NA!!!
p.s na is best anyways, duh

steveobb4,

the best place to get a clutch line is a junkyard, but you could bend one yourself......

also, the soft line that connects from the end of the hard line on the chassis to the tranny is really expensive, and you cant get one made at a brake shop, because nobody has the banjo bolts with the bend like honda puts in it, and if you get a straight one, it will leak, like mine....it hits this one bracket even after being bent out of the way....

i think something good to consider would be to just get a woven stainless line to go from the master cyl straight to the slave....

1)Way easier to find leaks, only two possible leak points instead of 6.....
2)Way easier to bleed
3)No crappy dampener, those things accumulate junk inside and ruin brake fluid...

im gonna start looking for a line like that....ill put up a post when i find one....i think it would be a good "mod" even for people with oem manuals....

on the car, have fun, that is the best feeling to be done....

mgags, i have the whole clutch dampner assembly and the soft rubber hose and banjo bolt with all the crush washers from my jdm clip, I can even use the jdm rhd clutch pedal assembly but it only has the clutch switch to deactivate cruise control and no clutch starter bypass switch(i found that odd) . All i need is the line from the mast, cyl to dampner, I saw in the accord forum someone used a stainless line so i might consider it.Thanks

Redlude04,

Did you use any spacers between the nuts that thread onto the clutch master cylinder studs? My jdm front clip which is a BB1 5spd has about a 12mm spacer welded to the fire wall. Thanks

Awesome man... Glad to see more young people having the knowledge to do swaps and properly modify their engines... I'm sure you will have plenty of fun with the h22... I was still 17 when I started building my h23 vtec and I'm only 19 now and I've finally boosted my second hybrid motor... It feels good...

im 17 and i love my boosted prelude, it's also very reliable and i haven't had to do tons of maintenance like everyone thinks they do with a turbo. really all i've had to do is change oil. if things are tuned properly and the setup is reasonable (meaning you're not putting out high hp #'s..400+) a turbo honda is just as reliable. there are more parts to worry about and more things that can go wrong, but it will last for quite awhile. also, my MPG has remained the same, about 28mpg highway and 24mpg city, boosting at 5psi daily around 230whp.

I bent the line myself wasnt that hard i did have help from my dad but it can be done without to many headaches. It does feel great to have the swap done,By the way i suggest world sport exhaust to anyone the best exhaust in my opinion quiet as anything.

I am going to keep it N/A for now i dont have the money gor turbo but i have a set of cams and today or tomorrow im going to get cam gears injecors and fuel rail.im trying to keep everthing together in sence of buying it because i know if u have a throttle body like without injectors you will never have the max performance, but im learning alot,Im still new but im very excited and this is something that i love to do.

the clutch master cylnder will bolt right up to your fire wall,we did not use the spacers just bolt it up and it will be fine.

Redlude, did you just leave the automatic gear position switch in park? Or did you wire up a clutch bypass switch?

Injectors and a fuel rail are a waste.

Research before you just start buying stuff. Many waste A LOT of money because they think slapping mods on their car will make it faster.
