D16a6 Dizzy work on a D15b2?
As the title says does anyone know? My cousin's 91 EF dx civic is not turning over and wanted to know if an Si a6 dizzy would work or @ least if the ignitor and coil would fit into the D15b2 dizzy housing. Thanks all

However, the whole A6 distributor will NOT work, it is MPFI, and the d15b2 is dpfi, completely different plugs and setup.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I'll probably just end up buying a used dizzy either one and swapping out the internals. Is it okay to use used internals from another operating dizzy?

If you changed the distributor plugs it probably would work..
The distributors are basically the same but the MPFI version
has an additional sensor to fire the injectors..
Dx distributor has 5 wires,
Si distributor has 7 wires,
[The 2 extra are for the cylinder position sensor..]
So if you hook the 5 of 7 wires correctly,it should work..
p.s.I have read that it worked but I have not tried it..
I have made a Si distributor work on a B-16 and
people always say that won't work either...
