I'm assuming you meant strut bars, but some prefer to call them tie bars. I have the Spoon front and rear upper tie bars on my 99 hatch and love them. They are definitely quality. You'll see when you put them on, you'll kinda have to jack up the car on one side to get the body to flex just enough to put them on. Once everything is tightened down, it's solid! What's really impressive is the engineering behind it. The bar itself is extremely light, but when installed, it seems like its a much heavier bar. So enjoy!

Latez,

Paul

PS - put the brackets on the shock towers first, but don't tighten them down. Allow them to swivel on the shock bolts and then try to get the bar on there, then torque them down. I haven't installed the lower, so I can't help you there.

i think you wasted money, but oh well, i waste tons of money.

also you forgot the "bar" in the title i was surprised to see that SPOOM was taking other people's struts/shocks, slapping their sticker on em and marking em up 150% but it was a false alarm...

I don't understand how they are supposed to be any better than the ebay stuff. Weld quality aside, they still have the pivot points that everybody complains about, except they cost 10x more. Atleast now you can put spoon stickers on your car w/o being a poser...

I do think the rear lower tie bar is useless. Front and rear strut bars may work to some extend.

I have all 3 and I sold the rear lower tie.
