Take it to a tire place. Some will do it for free, others will charge 10-20 bucks.

tire patch (recommended) or tire plug.

How ******* dumb are you people? You have a screw in your tire. Buy a new tire, or go to a tire shop and have it repaired.

What were you expecting to hear from us here? Put some glue on it and put the screw back in? Or maybe just put a piece of gum over it?

I mean, not to be mean, but seriously, at what point do people just say enough is enough and get fed up with the complete lack of common sense? Thats why I said "I just got stabbed in the arm, what should I do?". Same idea, its pretty much common sense what you do if you are bleeding, you seek medical help. If your windsheild gets smashed, you go to a glass shop. If your tire needs repairing, go to a tire repair shop. If you want your hair cut, go to a barber. If you want to buy a baseball glove, go to a sporting goods store. If you want tickets for a concert, go to your local box office. If you want to eat food and dont know how, put some in your mouth and chew it.

Its just sad that kids these days cant figure out how to use their damned brains.

i highly suggest you get the tire patched from the inside with a patch, shouldnt cost more than 20 bucks at a tire shop.

dont use those butt plugs, they are more prone to leaking

and the rest of you guys shouldn't be so mean to the guy, you all know if it was a "girl" posting this question, everyone would be all nice and ****, and probably offer to pick her up to and take her to fix the tire.

Damnit, and to think, I just put that gum on it earlier... maybe that's why it's still losing air

i think before people get all wound up over a simple question, you should realize that this forum is visited by A LOT of first time car owners, mostly in their teens.

if they're comfortable with coming here asking for questions, a simple 1-2 sentence reply should be enough to appease them. why jump all over it and make derogatory statements?

just curious, but how many members on H-T are below the age of 21? i know that has little to do with common sense, but if you're a 16yr old kid, this is your first car, and you're comfortable with posting questions, a community like H-T is the right forum to pose those questions...

Totally agree. Why post here if your just going to flame? If your not going to help, then don't post. Just because someone is uneducated in vehicle knowledge doesn't mean you can't help them out. Maybe they will learn something and pass it on. Kind of like how you learned?
