Special Lugs for Volks?
do the volk te37s need special sized lug nuts? will the stock ones suffice? every pic i've seen of them on a car seems to have different lugs than i do =T
A nice SEARCH would have found this topic covered before: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=116106
AND:
As quoted from my RAY's service manual: "There are several types of nut shapes including taper, spherical and flat. A 60 degree taper is used for this wheel.
Nut/Bolt(S) of incorrect shape MUST NEVER BE USED as they may result in insufficient tightening and may fall off during driving!"
So go get the right bolts cause it would certainly suck to have one of those wheels fall off during a cruise or at a good pace on thw highway.
Good luck, Be safe, and get the correct LUG's

i guess i'm steering towards the Kyokugen or Rays Eng. lug nuts to fit on the TE-37s. it says that they come with a special key because the nuts are 7-sided. does that mean that anybody with the Kyokugen or Rays key can take off my lug nuts... or *only* my key will be able to remove *my* lugs?

i have some experience with both. kyogeken nuts i personally think are not good, the key that they gave you is cheap. i've stripped 3 of there keys. they're ok if you don't let anybody use an impact gun on them. always torque on spec. i've changed to volks lug nuts after stripping so man keys...
Does anyone know of a place that has the gunmetal Kyokugens in stock? I'm able to find black but I'd rather have gunmetal, but everyone seems to be out. Then again maybe I shouldn't care since after all, they're just "track" lugs
