Hey all, I am noticing that my manual tranny is not shifting as smooth as it used to. It now feels a little more resistance going into the gears. I changed my tranny fluid last year about in November. I used 10W30 oil. however, I am wondering wheather some has leaked out.

When I look on my gear cable, where it connects to the engine, I see that its wet with oil. Its not dripping wet, but you can see that it was wet. I had washed my engine last year about october, so everything was pretty clearn.

Do you think this is a serious leak?
What would I do to fix such a problem?

When I look at the bottom of my engine, I also noticed that there is dirt sticking to the bottom of it...implying that it was wet and the drit stick to the wet area.

Again, Does this mean I have a leak?
What would I do to fix such a leak?
Is this a serious leak or is this normal?
Do I need to top up my tranny fluid?
