hey guys, well i hid all my wires recently and my motor is on its last leg so i just pulled it this weekend and trying to clean up the bay again. i have this relay or whatever is mounted next to the headlight, so i took it off and just stuffed it under the headlight to hide it. what im wondering is whats it for and do i need it. thanks
Follow the wires and see where they go. It may be used to turn off the low beems when your high beems are turned on. Or maybe, to have the bumper lights flash, then your corner lights flash, then your bumper lights flash.....etc....just maybe.
I THINK THE ONE YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT IS A GREENISH LOOKING BOX RIGHT? I BELEIVE THAT IS THE RELAY FOR THE COOLING FAN...............DON'T REMOVE!
I believe it's the relay for the condenser fan. OK to remove if you don't have AC.

if these wires go through the firewall with the AC lines that's what it is.

there all for the ac. one is the A/C clutch relay, one is the condenser fan relay, and one is the AC diode with 3 wires( the 90 - 91 have it under the dash above the ECU).
BTW the relay mounted on the fender wall by the grounding thing is ur radiator fan. if u remove anything else KEEP THIS ONE.
