How seriously can i mix and hatch parts? I've got a broken d16z6 (94ex) that wont go into first or second gear. The rest of it works fine.

I'm picking up a coup[le of free transmissions, trying to make one that works! Any and all help/links/etc are appreciated

 

did you try a search? i know you cant put ex/si gears into a dx/lx tranny and if you dont know allready transmissions are a bitch to work on once you take them apart.

 

yes i learned that much seraching. I didn't ifnd anything relating to hydro gears into cable trannys. Or no information relating the two series of transmissions. I'm aware of the difficulty working with them, and i dont really care since he has a few and they were free.
