This block is over .5" taller than a regular B18 block. Will this cause header fitment issues? If so, who makes a header for it?

 

i believe Tbone runs this sam block and he uses a SMSP header. But theres other companys that can make u a header as well like RMF, DTR-FAB, hytech so any of those companys should be able to help you. All great headers

 

Custom header is the way to go, I'm waiting to get mine from Hytech, for my 2.1L talldeck Dart. Sheepey is right, any one of those mentioned will be able to make you a quality header. Tbone runs the standard deck height btw.

Maybe it's too late but, do you find the header for your block? I have an OEM Type R header extended 3/4" for the tall block.

Wow, great timing, UPS just dropped off the short block today and the rest of the parts are done and should be here next week. Please let me know how much you want for it.

 

My intention isn't to insult anyone or to hinder someone's sale, but if I had invested in a 2-litre Dart setup, I would want a header that would flow and perform better than an otherwise stock ITR header.

 

I'm having a header custom made, but it may not be ready in time. I think a ITR header would be nice to bolt up to it in the mean time. I have a $60 ebay cheapie header that I was going to modify if necessary, but I'm sure an ITR header that is already modified would be better than that.

 

The header goes for 250. 00 including the collector flange (cost me 40.00) no gasket, I use for about 800 miles only then change to turbo. Has no dents and scrachts because it was protect with a skidplate from Fastline. If you buy the header I sell to you the skidplate and the top heatshield (OEM) for 65.00.
