Megan LCAs w/ ITR Sway bar, ENDLINK WOES!!
My current setup is Skunk2s w/ KYB AGXs, ITR Sway bar w/ Baeks SFRK...as it is the sway bars endlink is curved like this / if you're looking at it from the passenger wheel well...i was driving and apparently the bushing popped out of the bar due to the extreme angle it sits at..i thought it was b/c of the LCAs positioning (it being a MEGAN piece of course) but...after looking and comparing, ALL the aftermarket ones ive seen (omni, wicked, megan) are generally the same...moving the sway bar mounting hole to the center of the arm instead of the position its in on the stock LCA...has anybody else run into this problem?
I just bought the A-Spec reinforcement kit as i dont trust the BAEKS one (personal preference) and this should push the sway bar back a bit so it lines up with the LCAs...hopefully i'm not the only one with this problem
BTW this is on a DC2

I found out recently that an exteme slant on the endlink will cause subframe tear-out.
What you should do (if you can with the endlink) is use a longer bolt to connect the endlink to the LCA, and add washers to make the endlink as close to perpendicular as possible.
OOOOr... you can buy the ASR kit

same here, i used heim joints for the endlinks and a skunk2 bar with my own reinforcement kit. places the end of the bar far foreward so i used a long bolt with precision machined spacers... (washers)
You want the endlink as perpendicular to the LCA and Swaybar as you can. If the endlink is already slanted"/" then it will bind and cause stress on other parts of the system.
You can see in this picture how spacers were used to achieve a close to perpendicular endlink position.

the comptech is a REAL nice kit, worth every penny, the only swaybar setup i would purchase if i had to do it again. Dont cheap out on swaybar setups! they can and will tear out!
wow, this is a very informing topic.
I also have the Comptech adjustable swaybar/tiebar setup. Along with SRR LCA's. The endlinks are positioned very slanted.

^^ this picture is old but I have SRR lca's now.
I'm running on Skunk2 Pro-Series full coilovers and I dropped my car low enough to eliminate wheel gap. Thats all. So it looks like imma get a longer bolt and more of those washers comptech supplies.

hmm the best setup i've seen where the endlinks are 90degress looking from the front and side, is the 23mm itr bar with itr endlinks with washers.
With your end link pick up so far out from the center of your control arm, imagine the torque that is being applied to your control arms. The links should operate vertically as close to the center of the control arms as possible.
I wonder what kind of damage these crooked endlinks will ultimately cause?

I thought spreading out torque would prevent damage to my rear subframe, bu tI was wrong. I am merely speculating here, so don't ban me from tech. It just looks a little too far from center to me.
Just check your suspension periodically.
