Default bulding up an LS head

i purchased a stock ls head that i want to build up. i'm going to put new springs, retainers, locks, valves, cams and cam gears in the head. i was planning on having a 3 angle valve job and porting the intake ports as well as the exhaust ports. this will be bolted to a STOCK B18B1 bottom end. my question is what would be the best parts to use? (i.e crower, skunk2, etc etc etc) will i need to chip my ecu if i put different cams and cam gears in? btw this will be a daily driver. any info would be greatly appriciated. thanks

I hate to be a dick, but if you search you will find your answer!

I personally use Crower components, and Ferrea Valves.

Check out this website, it is a community setup for nonvtecs. There are plenty of setups here to look at to give you an idea:

crower 403 cams and crower springs and retainers, you dont need to chip the ecu but if you want to make the most power then tune with hondata.

why? the safc is so limited. I would recommend uberdata, its free (minus the chips and stuff). Generally its used for FI, but i have seen very promising buildups of NA motors.
