Default 1998 prelude headunit install help

me and my cousin dont know how to get the head unit out of his 1998 prelude do we remove the black plastic surrond, does it just clip in ? the car has a aftermarket head unit installed, but we just cant get to any of its mounting screws

Yes. You have to pop the black plastic trim out. Do you have Helm manual? It shows you how to take it out. Use big flat head screw driver to pop it out. Be careful not to crack it! After you take it out, you should be able to see the screws that hold the head unit.

you got to take off your bumper and the grill to get to all the mounts lets say on the drivers side theres one on top one on the left behind the grill and last one to the right behind the bumper

you mean the headlight bulb? why do you call it a unit?

you take off the electric plug then take off the rubber boot then unhook the clip take the BULB out and remove it from the adapter then put the aftermarket one on it and just do the opposet of what i said
