Anyone know the length? Need to bypass my ac compressor at least temporarily. H22a4 motor (swapped into a 4th gen Prelude)

 

Possibly the belt for a DX Accord 4-cyl w/o ac? A good mechanic should know...

 

why not measure the length of belt you need?
i think i ended up using a 37 inch 5 rib belt for one swap, but it also had an underdrive pulley on it.

Do you just wrap a tape measure around the pulleys?

 

you can take a piece of rope or something and wrap it around, cut it to size, and bring it up there. then just get a belt that leanth, but w/the right amount of ribs...

i think it was 1 size up from the smallest one advanced auto sells

 

Thanks for the responses everyone. I had a used compressor I was going to have put on at some point, but was waiting because I was going to have to have someone else do it for me and just didn't want to spend the money since I haven't really needed the ac yet. When the old one seized up, it got me off my butt and I swapped the compressors out today. Not really a big deal, but it took longer to get to it (ps pump, alternator and right side fan all in the way) than it took to change the compressor. Anyway, problem solved. Anyone know what's involved in converting to R34??

i have covereted to r134 on several cars. the ones that worked best went though this process:
new receiver/drier, remove ALL lines and clean them out, and replace ALL o-rings, remove evaporator and clean it out, replace expansion valve. make sure all old oil is out of the compressor. then either clean the condenser REALLY REALLY well on the inside, or get a band new one. then put it all back together, vacuum it out and refill it.

i have done it without the clean out and so on, but then it doesnt get very cold, or i have had the expansion valve blow out when i dont replace it.
