Default One Mirror?

Ok I'm a little weirded out because this is the first time I've seen one side mirror on a car. I just got a 90 dx hatch and its only got one side mirror. Is mine in need of another one or is that normal on the older civics/cars. I mean where the passenger mirror would be it looks like there wasn't even meant to be one there. Someone please tell me if thats normal and if I can put another one on there or what.

Standard, as in standard stripped down model, as in too cheap to even have a name. Vynil interior, 4-speed transmission, and even less power than the DX.

pop off the triangle shaped piece on the inside of the door, remove the screws underneath (if there are any), pull of outside triangle piece, bolt mirror on in it's place.
