how do i remove the ebrake handle?

Default how do i remove the ebrake handle?

newb question.

hwo do you remove it? i tried pulling with all my might but the thing is like super glued on there or something.

maybe twisting it?

i read this in a hanly manual i think you have to hacksaw that off some just bolt off but on some of them you have to cut them

hahah, that is not necessary, actually its uncalled for.. twist and pull at the same time and youll get it off yo

If it wont twist and pull, hit it on the back edge forward with a rubber mallet. That will do the trick.

hmmm just cutting it off i would think that it would be easier but i dont know i dont think i could just pull it off maby you could take a center punch and a hammer and drive that in there

success story.

Just keep pulling it out with a twisting motion. Your gonna get tired and your hands are gonna hurt. I developed more callusses.

you have to keep pulling and twisting and eventually it will slide off.

what i did is put one of those locking pliers on the metal in front of the handle. i then held the top of the pliers with my left hand and hit the bottom of it with a hammer. if will slide it off without messing the handle up

Yup jsut pull and twist its a pita but it will come off. i did it to mine. no cutting!
