What mode are you shooting on? And are you using MF or AF?

That is your problem I think...I think the camera software didn't really know what to focus on so it tried to focus on everything, if you have multiple objects I would switch to MF.

Why does every person here think that taking pictures of ******* flowers during the day with the macro feature turned on is going to make them some spectacular photographer?

Cliff notes..
I was inside the house, went out from the front door, a EK hatch caught my eye. Went in house, snatched camera, took pics on my property so I woundldn't be spying on it.. .... But pictures came out very crappy, that what I usually take.

I'll do ya one better....why is everyone getting a dslr in hopes to turn into a really good photographer. I have said it 100 times and I will say it once more, just because you have a dslr doesn't make your pictures any better if you don't know how to use it...it just makes your wallet lighter. (not directed at OP since I have seen some of your other pics and they are decent ).

Reason I got a dslr is because my passion exceeded the limits of a P&S camera and I plan on doing some professional stuff as soon as I learn the camera more....plain and simple.
