Default Resistor box on 0bd0 ecu, with 310cc injectors?

Someone had mentioned to me that I do not need the resistor box with these injectors. The ecu is a PR3, it made me brainstorm and I was wondering what everyone else says. No hondata yet but I am using it soon with chipped p28, but same situation is it nessesary with that size injector? Will anything burn out, like the injectorchip in the ecu.

nice informatible answer! I am kinda looking for why. Your reply makes me just want to rip my resistor box right out.

no you do not need it your 310 injectors are high impedance (saturated above 10 ohms) stock injectors are low impedance (peak-hold I think something around 1 or 2 ohms) there for needing a resistor to keep the current down.
