If you have a stock exhaust then it should bolt right up. If not go to a muffler shop and have them do it.

It will most likely bolt right on. Don't look for a very big gain though, since you have the stock exhaust on.

Yep

By the way, I hope your not expecting more than one header from your friend. Your d16 only has one header.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by hookedonvtec &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">hows it goin. my homeboi is going to hook me up with some 4-2-1 headers for free. i am wondering if it will fit on my stock exhaust. i have a d16z swapped into my DX shell. you guys think it will fit? my guts telling me no, but hopefully im wrong.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I'd recommend getting a catback and high flow cat though...

I would think you'd lose HP because there will be more backpressue.

The collector is probably 2.25'' and your exhaust is 1.75''.......that makes for a lot of backpressure

It's free so try it out, only 8 nuts to remove the old one (plus 2 on the bottom(bracket) and two bolts connecting to the exhaust). But your only going to be able to fit one of those "headers" on your engine
