cargo cover doesn't fit on my 89 HF?

cargo cover doesn't fit on my 89 HF?
Figured this should be the first place I ask anyone about this....I bought one of those cargo covers for my HF off eBay and it doesn't fit. Not only that, but for some reason every 2nd gen HF speaker cover I've seen doesn't have those nifty little clips to hold a cargo cover in place. Anyone know if the HF cargo covers are model-specific? If so, I've got two CRX SI cargo covers to sell....

The HF model doesnt have the little clips to hold the cargo cover in place because the hf didnt come with a cargo cover. You could try fabbing up some type of clip or buy a new rear interior from a dx or si.

just out of curiosity what color was the rear cover? was it blue like the rest of the HF interior? what about the rear panels what color were they?

well, apparently the clips are a separate piece, so i'm gonna buy some dx or si speaker covers w/the hole for the clip in them......if anyone knows where to find the clips pleeeeeeeeeze let me know....

mine came with one EXACT same color as the interior

The cover was a factory option ( as we prob all know). I got mine by
swapping the B pillar back with a '91 Si. My advice would be to hit some bone
yards..you may get lucky..you also need to have the factory rear speaker
bracket (i think your HF will have this..the plastic mount...not the metal speaker
mount)..it screws to there. I would also try to get the speaker covers as well
because the holes are already done..if not you will have to cut out the holes
on your originals.
