Can you confirm this for me?
This is from a guy who is giving me **** for building the bottom end, saying I don't know what the hell I am doing, etc.:
"I would get a daily driven car, because forged pistons dont last for alot of miles under hard expansin and contraction conditions. http://1trick.stangnet.com/faq/pistons.html That link prolly dosent do much and i couldnt find the 1 i was looking for That explains the study... Ask around though because i have heard of studies where forged pistons last 25-40K miles before "wearing out". Most people dont drive there cars hard 25,000 miles with boost in less than a year... A boosted honda with forged pistons shouldnt be daily driven or driven that much period, thats why professionals change there stuff after a little bit."
Can anyone here confirm this for me? I understand sort of, but I think it's a bit overstated.

he doesn't have a built motor, I can tell you that just from that statement.
Building the motor is fine as long as the assembler has done his/her job of being diligent in their assembly. It will last for years to come.
Stop listening to this guy is all I can really say
