Default help...damged groundcontrols...still ok?

well iam interested in buying agx+gc coilovers for$200.....

but dude said its kinda damaged on the top perches...cuz it rubed the spring...
he said that its still usable beucase i probly wont go up that far since that would be stock highgt

ill probly be lowered 2inch +
so you guys think it looks ok?

its fine. been rolling around like that for awhile in a 95 accord also. its jsut the spring moving around thats all

I see this happen here n there. And that guy is right, you shouldn't have any problems IF you dont plan on ever turning the coil all the way to the top. Make sure the spring its self isn't damaged and there are no cracks anywhere.

yea just inspect the spring closely for any cracks or damage. If none, then you'll be fine

mine did it too, GC says it's something I did...

make sure you only have the snap-ring on the shock (perch) and nothing else.

That's weird. Just inspect them closely for any other damage. If there isn't any other damage they should work fine.

well i just got it the perches dont look bad
BUT iam missing 2 allen SCREWS?
where can i get em?besides ground control cuz i cant phone em today which is sunday

I've bought a set of ground controls that were damaged like that, then I bought a new set of koni gc's, and after I installed them they got damaged like that again. It only happens on one sleeve. Installer error?

I think it's from the setup unloading over bumps. if they had a dual-spring system this wouldn't happen...
