Default 10's at only a mere 17psi of boost

Just wanted to share this run..........We are not making a lot of power to the wheels compared to a lot of other racers out there....but I guess the name of the game is "who can get the power to the ground".....

This was the 1st round Quick 8 run at CMI - Sac April 2005. If you notice the second "dry" burnout. That was the punch which caused the tranny to break in the 2nd Round against Norman.

My car was tuned to 24psi at 520 h.p.....but since I am only running 17psi...I guess the weight of my CRX compensates for less H.P.

Stock diff (one legged)..
Best time 10.30 @ 138 mph. (17psi of boost)
All Squeeze Racing.
LDL Racing Engines.

1.60 was my best. That run was a 1.68 60 ft. time......

Considering that my tranny is stock (one legged)....not bad.

The reinforcement on the doors were cut. Nothing else on the body was cut. Lexan windows....etc.

I don't think how much psi matters all that much. All that matters is how much power it's putting down, and putting the power to the ground. I think your weight is a huge advantage though...

God time man, congrats!

i've always believed that you can go fast with not that much boost. There's plenty of setups that have done well with low boost and low hp with a car that has great traction.

A customer of ours with a D16A6, turbo kit we setup for them, 14psi, making about 290hp has done 11.03 in a full bodied CRX. Im hoping he can hit 10s with under 300HP.

Congrats on the great times! See you guys at some of the Cali races this year.
