By hand? Like doing a bike tire?

No, it isn't possible.

maybe one of those strongest man contest guys could lol. but most good shops have a wheel machine thats made for nicer wheels. Doesn't use a harsh metal plate to guide the tire on the wheel.

You don't need that much strength to rip a phonebook in half...or a deck of cards.

Just get it mounted at a local place like Discount Tire Direct.

My girls dad did her white wheels on her neon, he used some kind of hard plastic stick thing with 2 rags wrapped on the top, never made a single mark

it depends on the size. Big fat tires like 235/75-15 or something with a soft sidewall like slicks can be put on by hand but anything low profile isn't likely.

Just go to a place that is rim freindly and ask if they guarantee to not scuff the rims. Discount Tires is good. Good luck!
