June 2-5th marks the 3rd Annual National Prelude Meet. Saturday June 4th will be track day at Hallet and the price is set at $120 (there are PLENTY of spots available).

All types of cars are invited for track and other events so sign up!

I know myself and another friend were discussing this...depends on how tired we are after Expo.

 

Hallett is fun! Hard on brakes.

I got my first sheetmetal damage there! Turn 1, passing an M3, went off straight trying to brake late with no brakes, on the wrong side of the track, before I knew any better. It was a long and bumpy ride until I found the tire wall.

This was in 1999, in my 98 ITR, my first HPDE after a dozen autocrosses. I thought I had it figured out... My future wife was PISSED. Oh well, it buffed right out.

Let me clarify, Hallet is a very safe track, I just made a large number of mistakes leading up to that incident. OEM brakes were not the least of my mistakes, but they were right up there.

i'd love to go but that's finals season for me--i was thinking about making the drive from california but, i guess it wasn't meant to be.
