Default Gauge location ideas

Where are you guys mounting your gauges? Pics of where you located them might give me some ideas...

I'm thinking about either getting the bezel (cluster) pod that holds Two 2 1/16" gauges, or if I only go with 1 gauge (oil pressure), maybe just putting it where the dimmer is.

I thought about putting it under the radio, but I thought that maybe I wouldn't be able to see it that well.

Anyway, let me see where you've put them

If you retain the stock USDM steering wheel, the dimmer location is not the best place for ease of visibility (though it likely varies by driver height and seating position, it is okay for "casually monitored gauges"), though it is still much better than under the radio.

I personally don't like the pillar gauge position much, so for 3 or 4 gauges, I'd go with a bezel and dimmer spots (though you probably need to dremel them slightly), before going up onto the pillar.

Ease of installation: pillar, dimmer, bezel
Driver Visibility: pillar, bezel, dimmer
"Unwanted" Attention: pillar, bezel, dimmer

So it's a matter of your priorities I suppose

mugenracer... that must be great for visibility... I have my v1 display mounted inside that clock so I can't put my gauges there
