Has anyone attempted swaping 86-89 integra tranny gears into a 88-91 D-series trans????

In my search I found info on all of the 4th gen D-series cable tranny specs. Within that group of trannys was included the USDM 1.6 integra tranny info, I assume these are 86-89 integras. And the integra and CRX HF shared 2 exact gear ratios.

Also another post stated that the 5th gen D-series trannys will accept the 4th gen Si 5th gear as a direct swap.

With this info I would assume that you can use 5th gen D-series and 86-89 integra transmission gears in a 4th gen D-series tranny.

I know that people have said that the 4th gen into 5th gen is a direct swap, so in theory this works and has been done. But has anyone done or attempted swaping integra's internals into the 4th gen Si/DX?

I'm looking into this for a friends EP SCCA civic. We may be attemping this swap next week and wanted to see if this has been attempted before.
