question about my d16

Default question about my d16

my 94 civic ex gets the gas mileage of a pushrod v8!!!...i currently get around 18-20 mpg, what could be wrong? o2 sensor, running rich, etc?

ya replace the O2 sensor, also do a tune-up, new cap and rotor, wires, sparkplugs, and run some seafoam

well about 8 months i put in new platinum plugs and wires...didnt make much of a difference in gas mileage then...i've got 151,000 miles on the clock wit intake and exhaust

have you done all the routine maintenance? just makesure the timing is in spec and all the plugs are gapped approprietly, and as i said before replace the cap and rotor and O2 sensor

actually, i did use bosch 4 platinums along with bosch wires, big mistake or wat? are nkg platinum a better choice along wit ngk wires?

you dont need platinum plugs on a D16 motor....unless it is heavyly modified.
get NGK, it get's the job done right.

bosch sparkplugs suck when you put them in a honda motor.
I say change the sparkplugs out, you will see the difference.

bosch sucks period they dont belong in any car there is no electroed like other spark plugs have there compelete bullshit they sucks ngk denso best way to go throw a some ngk v powers part# 5584 there like 2.00 a plug
