Default Need Help Please Help!! JDM H22A

I Am Running A 1992 JDM H22A In My Ek 1996 Civic! I Have Been Trying To Get This Car Running For A Real Long Time And Still No Luck ..I Am Using a unchipped p13 ecu...Here Is What Happens

When I first start my car it runs fine with no check engine problems..Give it about 10 min of driving and the car wont rev pass 3 1/2...Most Times The Car Will Just Shut Off.. The only code the ecu is throwing is the egr code... Anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Or If Anybody lives in the southern california area a shop that maybe can help me out!!

Its Been About a Year And Its STill Not Working!!

if your EGR valve was stuck WIDE open all the time it might could cause what you're describing. You should check this valve and then also check that the vacuum line is functioning properly.

get the ECU chipped and block off the EGR.

Yea, basically what dream said. We run chipped p28s with no EGR valves on H22 civics. They run perfect.

the egr has been open the hole time...i was thinking of going chipped p28 but not sure..in fact the p28 doesnt have a egr code does it? but i know i still have to get it chipped because of the injectors

It doesn't use the EGR valve, but yes you will need to have it chipped for H22 maps.

that is the worst thing you can do. do run any kind of program till you figure out your problem.

give us full run down...you convert the car to obd1 or the engine to obd2? what injectors? you add a resistor box? have access to another ecu?

ok let me explain it again...i have a 1996 Civic Ex Coupe.. Which Is OBD 2..I Swaped The Motor To A OBD 1 1992 JDM H22..I Am Using The Injectors Off The Prelude And It Is Running TO A Resister Box.. I Have 3 Ecu's Available To Me The Stock Civic Ecu P2P..and a chipped p72 and a stock us p13...
