Hey I got 16" rotas on my ej1 and they got 205 width tires, even after i rolled the fenders it still rubs when i turn the wheel all the way (rubs on INSIDE now, instead of OUTSIDE and INSIDE).
Is this just something that cant be avoided with 16s? Or is it that 205s are too wide?
I need to know, cause im tired of worrying about rubbing, and smelling rubber. I need to know if i need to go to 15s or to 195s
thanks!

roll the fenders, and also dont have people sit in your back seat ... or just get diff tires and rims, i have that size tire and rim and i only rub on bumps with people in the back seat. im lowered 2.5 inches too

the tops of my wheels are JUST tucking, the wheels dont run the FENDER, cause it is rolled. They rub the like outside of the enginebay when turned all the way u kno?
would getting 195/345/16 fix my problem? Also I have no camber kit, but i dont think that would play a role int hem rubbing the outside of the engine bay...
please help! is 195/45/16 the way to go in front?

im runnin 205/40/16 and have no problems at all with skunk2 coilovers dropped about 2.75" or so all around, once in awhile when i have the wheel turned completely inward itll rub but not very often and i dont even have the fenders rolled. id try raising the car up a bit first and then go to a 195

x2
Its your suspension dude get higher spring rates coilovers. When I first installed my rotas I had H&R sports and they rubbed all the time trew them out after a week. Now I got omni coilovers and they dont rub even with the same drop that the H&Rs had and I think Im still a bit lower.

here are some pics, i couldnt discern the offset becuase the ink has come off all the labels...
Here are some pics of how low i am and the rubbing:

as you can see there are 2-3 spaces per side where the effect of rubbing are clear... would wheel spacers fix this?

i have the exact same wheel/tire setup that you do on the exact same car. i dont think mine is slammed quite as bad as yours, but my fronts rubbed a little, then i took out the black inner fender splash guard thing and they dont rub at all now. you might try that.

first off, thanks for all the input guys, this is a big issue for me as a like to "drive" my car pretty "hard". That consists of lots of hard turns and in the current situation, lots of rubbing.

Hm dont know if u can tell fromt he pics but i dont have any splash guards in front and for the 3rd time, MY FENDER ARE ROLLED!!!! stop asking me to roll them, cause they are- jeeze.
The tire is rubbing the inside or the wheel well, like the outside of the engine bay i guess u could say. I went to try and get wheel spacers but no dice, the place was closed.
I am gonna wait for the rotors to cool and then try raising it up to no wheel gap, instead of tuckin, see if that helps any... if that dont fix it then i guess 195/45/16 are the next best thing
not happy about getting thinner tires tho.
In the meantime keep the suggestions comin

205/40(or 45)/16 should be perfect though.
