Default Power steering elimination kit (WTF)

Ok just ordered my kit from Padawan and Im under the car right now.. Problem, This is very difficult to get my fingers in there to get at the low pressure line, and impossable to get it from the engine bay..
What will happen if the two lines at the steering rack are just unconnected and open ? Any problems with steering or what ? I need to know from someone who knows tonight.
This sucks and its going to get dark soon, ****.......

just remove the 2 hoses and all the tubes and the pump to save weight and its ok. never added anything to the system. whats the PS removable kit for?
the steering will be heavy for parking but ok for racing.

The kit was so I could loop the high/low lines together at the rack so fluid could still go back and forth, and pull all the other stuff out. Are you sure the steering wont have slop while these lines are pulled off at the rack and fluid gets squeezed out..
