Default Noob with a brake problem

I am brand new to the Honda scene just left J-body world for my 93 Accord EX. I have the passenger side front caliper that is in need of replacing and was wondering about the rotor being bolted on. Am I needing to let a shop replace the rotors due to bearing press or can it be done right without a shop? Would like some input as it seems like this site the people know there stuff.

Thanks for the help!![/I]

if you are just replacing caliper there is no need to do anything with rotor ..
to replace rotor it is a bit of work on those, but there is no need to touch the bearing the whole hub comes out as a unit bearings in it ,,,take out rotor and hub together then separate rotor from hub by removing the 4 14mm bolts...
to take rotor out of car you need to remove the axle nut 36mm, if you got no power tools make sure to loosen it up while wheel on ground, it is easier to unstake the center of nut first with a punch and hammer, get a big pry bar 36mm socket and the biggest friend you can find to help you loosen the nut, once loose raise car, remove wheel, remove 19mm nut from lower ball joint ,need to remove cotter pin first , once nut is off separate lower ball joing from control arm a few good wacks with a big hammer on the arm will do the trick , once separated pull on rotor to get axle out of way it is easier to get axle totally out of car, get a big screwdriver and pry at inner axle joint to separate from tranny once done take axle out of car it will fit through the fork.. on back side there are 2 17mm bolts which hold caliper on, remove those, swing caliper to the side ,now on back side where the axle went trough there are 4 bolts either 10mm 12 point or 12 mm ..you need to remove those 4 bolts oce done get a big hammer and hit the rotor it will come out after a few good hits like i said rotor will come out together with the bub, once out remove the 4 14mm bolts make sure you use a 6 point socket ,now you can remove rotor from hub ,,,do reverse order to put it all back together ,,make sure you clean area where the hub goes into the knukle before you install ....
