now i know the question im about to ask is probibly not warented here, but iv tryed searching, looking up the problem, experimenting, and me and my friend are both dumbfounded... iv run into a wall, and im not too ashamed to admit i need some help; the problem being is he dosent drive a honda, its actully a v6, but i figured when most of its broken down (engin function), its still a ligit question... his ecceloration is exelent, he has a full ignition, catback, intake (not the manifold) and some odds end ends... its not the most modifyed, or most magnifisent car in the world, but the amount of work thats been put into it, we want it running as close to perfect as possible... heres the problem:

once he reaches about 5000 rpms its like he loses power, then it jults back... its not the rev-limitor, or fuel cut-off b/c it was never like this, in addition he used to get high 13's out of a quater mile, now hes luck if he hits low 15's... were both stuck, and need insite despritly.... if anyone has a sugestion, it would be a big help!!!

 

I would say tuning. What are the AFR's when he is up there. Also what type of ignition does he have?

Also what type of ignition does he have?</TD></TR></TABLE> well, my stoichmeter was stolen out my car about a week agow, and i havent the money to get a new one right now, and he used accel for the ignition, he usses, nkg iridiums as far as the sparkplugs, i think its starving for air, but withount my wide-band i have no way of knowing
