Default Wide band location?

hey guys I am thinking of picking up a wide band for my NA setup for tunning and I was wondering if it would affect the reading if I put it in the test pipe instead of the header
I will be leaving the unit in the car all the time for an acurate A/F reading
TIA

I use my LM-1 hooked into the bung in the header. It should not make much of a difference moving it back a foot or two.
