Well as many of you who know me know that I don't have a honda right now and am "in between cars". I was looking to get out of the honda market and into the higher markets but I think I may have changed my mind today. My friend picked up 009 at an auction. He got a great deal and passed it on. Tonight I went over to his house with an undisclosed amount (which I am not saying). I bought all of the interior as seen in the picture. LEGIT. Some of us out here are still legit hybriders and know a good deal when we found it. It sucks that there is one less ITR out there, but I am gonna remember that in my next vehicle when I am rolling around in my plush 17k mile virgin seats Just thought I would share my experiance so you remember that not all of us are theifs.

Sweet Look like it was a clean-*** interior!! Who grabbed the mechanicals, youre friend or someone before him?

 

The kid bought it for the motor alone and he paid less than what a ITR motor usually goes for, dont ask NOTHING is left but the body and there isn't a straight panel to it.

The driver seat was in perfect shape, as well as the roof above him, no blood on any of it It's all good.

If the driver walked away from that wreck, he/she should buy a lotto ticket.

 

You can sit in the driver seat and feel fine, no distortion. THe driver walked away almost guarenteed. Acura designed the crush zone very well on this car. It looked ot get rear ended and then hit something else and prolly rolled into a ditch on the passenger side. No blood or nothing, and the drivers area wasn't distorted or any other seat distorted (meaning passengers had a good chance if wearing seatbelts).

Happy that the interior is going to good use. Frustrated because another Type R is gone. Sad because he had a NOPI sticker on there.
