After changing my tires from stock to 205-50-15, my car seems kinda slow now. The car is stock with everything. Anyone know why? Thanks

Hmm, think I read somewhere that after changing out of factory spec tires, the tachometer will be off by a mile or two. Guess that might be it.

you must mean your speedo....it does change, but not alot, especially enough to notice any performance differences

changing your tires size like that won't really make a big difference IMO, if u make ur wheel bigger than stock ur speedo will read lower than ur actually goin, and if u make ur wheels smaller it'll read higher than ur actaully going.

hopefully that'll help a lil, so yeh it might just be in your head

ITs not all in your head, when you changed your tires to a bigger and wider tire your car will have more traction to get a better 60 foot time at the track, but because of the wider tires you will sacrafice your trap speed will be slower. its a compromise your car will launch, brake , and handle better but will take longer to get up to your top speed its not that your car is slower you are just useing the same amount of power on more of the road.

my speedometer is calibrated to 195/65/15 for some reason, and i had for a week a set that was 195/40/15....thats 15% difference acccording to the miate calculator. So when I was doing "90", everyone was passing me on the highway left and right
