integra cluster into civic, cant display cel's?

integra cluster into civic, cant display cel's?
i swapped my 97 integra ls gauge cluster into my civic a while back, everything works mechanically like it should. however, whenever i go to check a CEL, all i've gotten is a solid light. anybody else do this mod, and are able to check CEL's normally?
