thats a rough video, but it gets the point across. pretty decent setup there, sounds strong for what is done to it.

Seems to run very good Im looking into building a motor with a very similar setup as what you have. What transmission are you running and are the crower 403's almost the same size as the skunk 2 stage 2's.

what kinda tranny are you using? When you ran 13flat how many lbs did your car weigh? how often does your motor see 9k and how long have this motor been "alive"? On that video, were you on slicks?

well, I got out to the 1/8 yesterday and im pretty disapointed. I ran 8.10@85mph. I couldnt cut a decent 60ft to save my life. best 60ft of the night was a 1.82. I was hopeing for low 1.7;s which woulda easily put me into the 7's. well, now my tranny doesnt like me very much, or atleast 3rd gear. Im gunna have to rip apart the tranny when i get a chance because i really cant stand a notchy tranny. I have a feeling i know exactly what it is. Well, hopefully when i get my rmf header i can run some better times. for now im just gunna take care of the heavy unecessary stuff in my car. I still need to remove the power sunroof and lexan my windows and possibly gut my doors out. that will be last because then at that point i woukdnt wanna drive my car on the street.

I dont know about the 9,000 rpms on stock rods. Alot of people are doing it these days with upgraded bolts but if you look most forged ones are lighter than stock, and give a little more reassurance.
