It fits but you will need custom motor mounts and also modification to use the cable shift linkage for the hseries trans. IMO it is not really worth it.

Why are you wanting to get rid of your hatch?

If daddy is buying do a GSR or ITR block sleeved and punched out to about 91mm, then use ITR crank, rods and then use 84mm CRV piston, P&P head, comes out to be a quick 2.1 motor, and if daddy get a B16 tranny with full LSD.

When I got my first car it was my sisters old 82 Olds Detla 88, then when she took that back he told me I was getting something much better I rec'd a 84 Ford E150 Conversion van....can't believe some of these people getting whatever they want but it is cool as long as they keep a level head...don't ever think you are better than someone else...someday you may need help and that might be the only person there.

If the H23 is free go for it but a H22 would be better (valentino2k3)
I prefer the B-series less cutting and welding...

That will make an h22 into a hatch a lot easier.

Someone took your thread away.

you could put a h23 in crx. But H23 is weaker than the H22.
You'll need the same thing as a regular swap.

As for you:
Get the ITR, already have enough power for you. You probably hit 13's-low 14's
depend on driver.

i dunno, your pops willing to spend 2300+ on a gsr motor just for your b-day i think is spoiling it, if i asked my mom or pops for that, id be 6 feet under right now, but yea i would do gsr, h22 isnt worth it at all, too much work,

That all depends. If you could get one of those adaptor plate kits rumored to be floating around, it would most definitely be worth it. After all, you can get an H23 for about the same (or less) than an LS. But it has more power and ALOT more torque. But I agree that if you have to fabricate to get the motor in, it would be better to go H23A.
