This only applies to guys who didn't get JDM Conversion b/c of an accident.
Let me fill you in on my info real quick...
As most of you know, I had an accident in my R back in December... Well, since then, my JDM conversion just arrived, and my body shop is ready to start working on it. Fortunately, my stock reinforcement bar with the big styrofoam part is still intact.
So my question is, will the stock reinforcement bar fit with the JDM conversion, or can it be modified to fit?
I would prefer to do this over using the one the conversion kit comes with, to stay Cailfornia legal, and not risk major liability with passengers.

If you go with the Mugen bumper, the existing one is fine and doesn't need to be modded.

If I had the $$ to do the JDM front...I'd got Mugen bumper myself.
I am going to use the stock bumper though, so I will need it.. Can this be done guys? What is needed to modify it?
yes it can be modified. The one that I'm using is my stock bar modified because only my plastic bumper and hood was hurt when I got the JDM kit.
However in the process I just decided to have them use a stronger metal instead of the stock metal so I just ditched the stock bar.
If they are gonna mod it, they just have to trim a few inches off the bar and reweld the brakets to it.
