Folks, thanks for your help. Someone wants to buy my old ITR front rotors for a project, but they first need machining.

I don't want to sell them to him if they are too thin to be machined. What is the min thickness of the rotors before they can't be machined anymore?

The min is 21mm, IIRC.

 

mythias is correct. The minimum spec is 21 mm for the front rotor. It's 23 mm thick when new. The rear rotor is 9 mm thick when new, and minimum is 8 mm. These specs are on page 3-13 of the '98 service manual.

Once you are near 2 thousandths, you should plan on replacing them.
