Default Snagged-SOHC ZC

Well, my SOHC ZC arrived from Hmotorsonline, its in great shape, good over all work in packaging/shipping. I got all the parts desrcibed, kinda mad that the wiring harness was cut cause its in great shape, but ohh well. I'll get pics up of it soon, hoping to get it in in the next couple of weeks, but I gotta get that rusty P.O.S. D15 out......damnit. Well more to come.

P.S. I'd like to thank Applebee's for employing me so I could get the money for this swap, hope they dont know I broke the fryer lastnight while I was making extra corn dogs for the crazy mexican guy with the funny eyebrows.

Yup, all 3. I recently put a sohc in my dx...and I also have a dohc in my ex, both are very easy swaps. And for idiotboy...you have to use your dx harness...the sohc zc one wouldnt plug up, however you will need the injector part of the harness so dont chuck it. I ran all my injector wiring independantly of the normal harness. Good luck with your swap.

Both of mine only took a week, from CA to FL so thats fantastic. I dunno about debit card...if it has a visa logo just say its a charge card...they run it as credit but it comes right out like a debit.

You're going to be surprised how hard that motor pulls. I really enjoy mine on a daily basis.

Me too. It's gonna be a mess when I do my swap

And once you have all your mpfi stuff done, theres no more wiring to do get the zc running right?

It was $225 to FL to my door.

Yup, do all the wiring crap in the car...you'll end up with like 6 or 7 wires in your engine bay...4 hook up to the injector wire harness, 1 for power for the resistor box, and 2 to the dizzy. Its VERY simple, if you need pics I can snap you some, some of my wiring is loomed but inside the car its a MESS, lol. I jus put the kickplate on top of it all.

Shipping was 200, and add 55 for lift gate, it was a good buy.

I took literlay 4 days form the time my payment got to Hmotors, good guys easy to work with and very helpful.

This swap should be easy, its a PGM-FI motor and my HF is PGM-FI, and its OBD-0. I already have the Si ecu and an Im waiting on a friend for the Si tranny.

the stamp on the head of my a6 in my gargae reads PM3, and the SOHC ZC under my hood reads....you guessed it, PM3

A6 and the sohc zc are identical down to the last detail but the cam, Its a little more aggressive. This will be what im buying next week to build for some boost. Damn good engines for the price.
