what is the best tranny for a D15B engine .....

try finding a d16y8 tranny. They have the stronger shift forks out of the sohc trannys.

Try and get the LSD tranny from some of the JDM d15B vtecs...kinda rare but it is a good peice. Otherwise I recommend you get a y8 tranny cheap as possible and have an OBX lsd put in before you bolt the tranny up. Just makes sense to do while you have the tranny off.
