My 94 hatch oversteers too much...how to avoid
Will a front sway bar help? I have front and rear strut bars and also have a rear lower tie bar. I also have no power steering and tanabe sustec suspension. Help please.
Do you have a stock rear sway? ( a fatter one makes you oversteer)
Run your rear shocks at full soft and your fronts a bit harder than full soft, tinker from there.
Is your alignment in check?
Rear tires worn/old and hardening???
hth

wow .... an oversteer civic ......
and he didn't mention anything about having a rear sway bar ....
check condition of tires .... tire pressure ..
shocks setting ... a soft rear setting should take out the oversteer ...

-invest in 26mm front sway bar
-reduce the size of your rear sway bar
this should help create some understeer if not neutralize you setup.
tell...
i wish i was in your position i really hate understeer my del sol has factory front-rear sways and it either grips hard or the front end keeps sliding forward....
gotta get some money together for a rear sway heh.......
