my 91 DOHC ZC civic will, once in a blue moon, decide not to start (never happens in the winter). I went to star my EF after work and it didn't start or turn over the first couple of tries. I kept trying after only hearing the buzzing relay under the dash, then it decided to turn over and then not and then...u get the picture. so I bump started it. Yesterday I went to work and it started. I started it for the gym then to leave the gym the same **** happened. I hit the starter with a hammer, what's the problem????

Anyways, I think you will solve your problem by replacing your ignition switch.

But seriously, check your grounds check your battery connection too, I had the same problem for a couple weeks and found it to be as simple as the connection to the battery was too loose.
