Default Tail Lights

Is the only difference betweent the 94-97 and then 98-01 tail lights the amber turn signal?

In a nut shell yes, the 98+ lights are all red except the white for the reverse. Also after installing my 98 + taillights I noticed the black lining around my lights more. See picture

So it wouldnt be a problem if i were to get 98+ lights and swap them out?

Nope that's what I did I have a 95 dc2 tails and decided I wanted 98+. There's a write up on team-integra.net how to do the swap out.

they need to be redone, they were painted at the end of last summer. sorry for the shitty quality, its a $50 camera

Have you seen the writeup on the DIY JDM 98+ tails on T-I?

Pretty cool, if you wanna be different from all the normal US integras.

Light red border with the amber instead of all red or dark red border with amber.

yea you can just paint on the outside, make sure you clean them first to get dust/particles off. spray thin coats, allowing about 10mins to dry between each coat.

did you use clearcoat? cuz um.. it looks dull anyway.

im asking because i plan on painting a set of taillights with a thin coat of smoke.

yea i only used one coat of clear, and it was painted almost a year ago. it does look very dull. i think im doing them again this weekend, so hopefully i can get some pics up of what the look like freshly done.

or vinyl it....I painted the insides of my 94's and vinyl it...

oem 98 on top, my diy remod 94's on the bottom.


or turn ur 94's into 98+ jdm's like i did..



i'm the pioneer in 94 tails retromodding!!!

sorry man but those all red don't look consistent so wouldn't even consider them all reds. I guess if someone is gonna go all red ur better off vinyl or painting off the reverse on a set of 98s'. props for the job tho.
