TUNING SHOP IN PACIFIC NORTHWEST
....... for those in the Seattle and Oregon area. If anyone could give their opinions of service based shops, would be much appreciated! Specifically, TUNING type shops and the pros/cons of your experiences.
Thx

I'm not sure what the definition of a "tuning shop" really is, but Intec Racing in Kent, and Import Speciality Automotive in Tacoma both have dyno's, and both work on cars.
$.02

I would never let anyone work on my car except me....
On that note, Intec seems to have a nice shop setup and they seem to have a fair amount of knowledge.

no knowledge of track racing or autocross though(Intec-Racing). I like them, but they seem to be mainly focused on drag. Its alright, but the true test of driver skill is on the course
Plus track driving is mAd TiGhT JdM Yo!

avoid them at all costs.
They sell chrome rImZ and KoMbAt kItZ.
Quite frankly I am suprised they are still in business. Of course Everett is pretty ricey.

Most import shops cater to drag racing, since it is a bigger market. (I am of firm belief that is changing though).

If you want it done right you bring it to me. That is your final answer.
What is it you want done?

Only 2 guys I trust with ECU tuning are in Bellingham....Dave from Homemadeturbo and Crescent from C-speed. But as far as building and wrenching...Mike K and myself have plenty of experience under our belt...and are always up for side jobs
