Default My new Mahle Pistons

Just got my new babys in today.

Check them out, new Mahle pistons for my B16. It's so so sexy I just had to share.
Comes with new rings. Pistons skirts are coated.

Got them from Lenny at http://www.Competitionwarehouseusa.com, very nice guy, and excellant service. He is a good engine tuner also and well known in SoFla.

They look great!

How much $$ aren't those super spendy? What makes those different from other pistons?

Mahle design pistons for Porsche and other High end cars....if it's good enough for those cars, it's good enough for my rust bucket.

Besides they look so sexy......and killer price too did I mention that...got them for $426.00 shipped.

The pistons specs are
Bore: 81.50mm/3.209"
Piston weight: 278gm
It comes with Grafal skirt coating and it's a low expansion alloy so you can run tighter piston to wall clearance.

Just felt like trying something different.

We have teste the Mahle pistons on a b16 turbo hier in Germany, we had problems with it, one time brocke the ringlands an the other melt a piston.
We trade it for some CP, and the car is running licke a champ.
This pistons are good for some Fast Granturismo German car but for honda engines they don´t have enought experience with it.
Good luck

Earl and other engine builders on this board said they were having quality issues with Mahle pistons. That means a lot more to me than thinking people hate them just because they're not CP's.
