install ex cat or wait until drop in b18c5 type r
I am a owner of a 2000 Civic DX coupe. I want to install new DC headers. I know that i'm going to have to get an ex high flow cat and install that also. Here's my question. Sometime in the near distant future, I am going to swap in a b18c5 type R motor.
Once that is done, is it alright to keep the EX cat like it would be? Or do i have to install a type r cat. if this has been posted before i apologize, but i could not find this topic anywhere. any info would b good.
