Ok im planning on running in the NIRA races in the comp4 class...the question is they say you have to have the stock ecu and you can't stroke the motor

1)is a chipped p28 ecu with obd1 harness and hondata still considered a stock ecu?2)would boring out the block to a 2.0L be considering stroking the motor?

 

Dont think you will be able to do that, seeing as NIRA no longer exists. They merged with the NHRA, rules are not the same

are you serious that sucks.....I just saw their website today and they have the 2002 schedule up and i saw nopi's website and they use nira's rules too

 

well for Nopi's rules they are the same as NIRA's because craig the guy who used to head up NIRA is now with Nopi. so craig and Nopi started NDRA so thats why the rules are the same. but why not run IDRC?(hint hint)
