Help!! My daily driver is down & I want opinions
I have an integra that I'm building up, but my daily driver is a bone stock 95 accord EX auto.
Here's the story:
I was driving around and noticed that my oil light would slightly flicker on when I was at idle, didn't think too much of it and meant to take a look at my oil pressure when I had the time.
However, driving home last fri. night the oil light came on when I dipped below 1500 rpm. this happened about 5 mi. from home, so I just drove it home and tried to keep the revs up.
When I went to my car sat. morning, I started it, oil light came on immediately and the engine made a knocking noise. I immediately shut it down and haven't driven it since.
I've heard a couple theories: 1. oil pump went out, 2. threw a rod, 3. spun a bearing, 4. skipped a tooth on timing belt
Anyone here have any thoughts, engine starts and stays running, but sounds awful!! Also, I don't think it's the timing belt, it is securely on the cam gear (doesn't have slack).
Please let me know your thoughts!! Thanks!

Did you check if it was leaking any oil? Check your oil filter because on my cousin Maxima, the guy that did the oil change didn't screw it on tight enough and it fell off. And the oil light came on and knocking in the engine.

You have spun a bearing. Your engine is shot unfortunately. If you continue to drive the car you will throw the rod next.

Could be the front balancer shaft seal pops out. Honda has a recall on this. Check to see if it is the cause.
